Refund and Cancellation Policy

The Nature of Custom Digital Services NexusApps provides highly customized software engineering, digital consulting, and enterprise system architecture. Because our services involve dedicated time, labor, and the creation of bespoke digital assets tailored specifically to your business, our refund and cancellation terms differ from standard e-commerce purchases.

Order Cancellation Before Work Commences If you have booked a project (such as our Essential, Professional, or Advanced tiers) and wish to cancel before any strategic or development work has officially begun, you may do so by contacting us in writing. In this scenario, any upfront deposits paid will be fully refunded, minus any applicable payment processing fees or administrative costs incurred by us.

Project Cancellation During Development We understand that business needs can change. You may request to cancel an ongoing project at any time by providing written notice. Upon receiving a cancellation notice, we will immediately halt all development and consulting work. You will be invoiced only for the work completed, the hours logged, or the milestones achieved up to the date of cancellation. Any remaining balance from your deposit that exceeds the value of the completed work will be refunded to you.

Refunds for Completed Work Due to the custom nature of our software engineering and consulting services, we do not offer refunds for work that has already been completed and delivered. Once code is written, API strategies are developed, or UI/UX frameworks are handed over, the time and expertise invested cannot be returned.

Revisions and Technical Support Instead of refunds for completed work, we are committed to delivering high-quality results. If a delivered software application does not meet the specifications outlined in your initial project agreement, we will work to resolve the issues. For clients on our Professional tier, this is covered under our included 30-Day Launch Support to ensure your application functions exactly as intended post-deployment.

Statutory Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) Our services are primarily aimed at other businesses (B2B), and our listed prices explicitly exclude VAT. Under German law, the standard 14-day statutory right of withdrawal applies to consumers (B2C), not commercial entities. If you are entering into a contract with us as a consumer, you agree that by explicitly requesting us to begin the execution of digital services before the 14-day withdrawal period expires, you waive your right to a refund once the service has been fully performed.
